How to Brew Green Coffee (Usage Instructions)

Since green coffee beans are very hard and unroasted, they cannot be used in standard coffee machines. The best way to extract their benefits is by making a decoction.

Method: The Soak & Boil Technique

  1. Soak: Take about 15-20 grams (approx. 1 tablespoon) of whole green coffee beans and soak them in 250ml of water overnight.

  2. Boil: The next morning, pour the beans and the water they were soaked in into a pan. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.

  3. Filter & Serve: Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly. Filter the liquid into a cup through a fine sieve.

  4. Enjoy: Your healthy green coffee drink is ready! You can drink it plain, or add a dash of honey or lemon for taste if desired.
